The Role: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Resource/Sourcing/Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a 9-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is crucial in ensuring we continue to attract, source, and engage the best IT talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate clients to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Utilise various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify and engage top IT talent.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and assessments to determine suitability for specific roles.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates, creating a talent pipeline for current and future opportunities.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives to promote itecopeople as an employer of choice.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities and candidate pipeline status.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a talent acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment role, preferably within the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for recruitment and talent acquisition.
