Project Manager. 
 
About the Role: We are recruiting for a dynamic and adaptable Project Manager on behalf of our client, who will be working on a variety of projects, primarily digital transformation projects. You will be responsible for managing a variety of digital and business projects, particularly those involving customer-facing systems, websites, apps, and APIs. 
 
This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile digital programme and other types of business projects, requiring flexibility, creativity, and a broad project management skill set. You will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless project delivery, from inception to completion, through a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 
 
Job Title:                            Project Manager. 
Location:                           Hybrid – 3 days a week in the West Midlands. 
Salary:                               &£55,000 £60,000 pa (neg based on experience) plus bonus and benefits. 
Contract Type:                Permanent 
Start Date:                        ASAP. Client can wait on a notice period. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and deliver digital and business projects, focusing on content management systems (CMS), websites, apps, and APIs. 
  • Implement and embed new processes and ways of working within the organisation. 
  • Engage with and manage stakeholders at various levels, including senior executives, directors, and heads of departments. 
  • Mitigate risks and overcome challenges associated with project delivery. 
  • Oversee both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage budgets (up to £1m) and supplier relationships, including procurement and contract negotiations. 
  • Ensure project team management and communication of project progress to non-technical stakeholders. 
 
Required Skills and Experience: 
  • Proven experience in project delivery (ideally for digital systems, business change, and IT projects, but with the ability to adapt and project manage various project types across other business sectors. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, and the ability to influence and build trusted relationships. 
  • Strong change management and process implementation skills. 
  • Project management qualifications such as Agile, Prince2, or MSP are desirable and any experience working on digital programmes, such as websites, apps, APIs, and search systems in e-commerce, retail, online platforms, or CMS would be advantageous.

You will need to be flexible, proactive, and have a strategic approach to problem-solving with a broad range of project management experience, who can not only lead digital projects but also adapt to different project types as required. As the ideal candidate you will have strong interpersonal skills, a proven track record in stakeholder management, and experience with both technical and business transformation projects.
